OceanWise have been working with ports and harbours for the last 15 years, helping them achieve safer and more resilient operations, improve situational awareness and decision making.
Katie Eades, Marketing Manager comments: “We are proud to be working with over 70% of the UK’s major ports including Associated British Ports Group, Port of London Authority and the Peel Ports Group and have seen some great success overseas as our customer base and partner network expand.”
OceanWise are pleased to announce some recent significant contract wins which we will be delivering over the coming months:
- Asset Management Portal for Portland Port
- Tide, weather and telemetry on the North East coast of Mozambique
We are delighted to have been awarded a contract by Portland Port to provide them with an online Asset Management Portal. This software application is being carefully designed and developed to provide the port with an easy-to-use tool to enable their teams to manage both land and marine assets.
Kenmare Resources PLC, an established mining company operating on the North East coast of Mozambique have chosen OceanWise to supply, install and integrate environmental monitoring equipment on a jetty within their wharf. The project will include the installation of a range of sensors and OceanWise data logger / modem (the ip.buffer) which provides reliable, fast and robust telemetry (data transmission) of the sensor data. This data will be made available to vessels berthing at the jetty and the shore management team via Port-Log.
These contracts follow ‘hard on the heels’ of successful delivery of several recent overseas projects including environmental monitoring solutions to the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority and the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority.
