Join our free Live Stream: A beginners guide to Data Management

Delivering servicing and maintenance under a SLA to Peel Ports Group
In 2021 Peel Ports, one of the largest port groups in the UK, signed a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with OceanWise to deliver consistent, reliable servicing and maintenance to the wide variety of environmental monitoring systems and sensors that Peel Ports have in place across all their sites. The Peel Ports Group is made up of 7 strategically located ports across the UK and Ireland. At each of these sites is a variety of systems and sensors delivering real-time environmental data for key port operations.

The OceanWise response to UKHO withdrawing paper charts
The UK Hydrographic Office has announced the phased withdrawal of its paper charts to conclude in late 2026. This withdrawal includes digital facsimiles of its paper charts known as raster charts. As a consequence of this announcement, OceanWise is urgently considering how best to support users that use its Raster Charts and Raster Charts XL products and services, including developing alternative raster charts from the company’s holding of vector data or acquiring these from another source. | | |
